'Another' former player playing at 'another' World Cup!!

This time it is Jānis Pakalns playing for Latvia at the 40-nation 2019  International Socca Federation World Cup in Crete!
Latvian legends Māris Verpakovskis and Jurijs Zigajevs are also in the team!

Famous names at the tournament include Euro 2004 winner Kostas Katsouranis, Mark Clattenburg, who is head of the referees at the tournament, and Ron Atkinson, who is the England team's Director of Football.

Good luck to Jānis and the lads in your upcoming matches against Mexico and Chile on Tuesday and Wednesday!!
