Riga United Ladies Reserves to compete in Latvijas Sieviešu pirmās līgas čempionāta
On March 3, during the 2016 Latvian First League meeting to decide protocols, fixtures and rules for the forthcoming season, it was officially confirmed that Riga United Ladies Reserves will debut in the Latvian First League Championships.
"Just like last season, eight teams will participate in this
year the first Latvian Women's League championship. The most
significant change is the addition of Riga United FC; only the
second club in the country, after Riga Football School, to have two
teams in national compeition. The championships will kick
off in April." The LFF announced.
The following teams will participate in the national league
campaign:
Riga Football School,
Rezekne BJSS - SK Progress
BFC Daugavpils,
Rezekne county BJSS / Preiļu BJSS
AFA Olaine
Talsi NSS
Imanta
Riga United FC
