Paddys signs 12-month partnership agreement
Paddy
Whelan's has become the first local business to become an
official 'Friend of Riga United' for the 2016 season. Paddys has
signed a 12-month partnership deal, which will see the Irish eatery
and drinking establishment support the Black Cats through all of
2016. Paddys and RUFC plan to hold events together as well as joint
marketing campaigns. Paddys hosted the 2015 Riga United Awards
Evening and currently hosts the club's monthly board meetings.
During the upcoming 2016 European Football Championships in June it
will be the first port of call for many United players wanting to
catch up on games at the tournament.
Club secretary Justin Walley said "The continued support of
Paddys is invaluable to the club. As well as being a great place
for us to hold events and unwind with great food and live music,
Paddy Whelan's financial support is enabling us to purchase new
equipment for the 2016 season. They have supported us from day one
and this financial agreement is one of the biggest the club has
ever signed."
