The Stadium in Orge had floodlight which can only be described as 6 touch lights. Half the pitch covered in darkness, not ideal to play a football.
Riga United started well forcing the home goalkeeper into early saves but in fairness he should have been given no chance. on 24mins RU were hit when a cross was headed out to the edge of the box and a shot was drilled into the bottom corner.

Riga United came out the much better team in the 2nd half and again failed to convert chances, hitting the bar twice and hitting the post, plus forcing their goalkeeper into saves.
Fortuna on the other hand had the luck on their side. 3mins after RU made 1-1 they hit RU on the break and a shot come cross took a deflection which wrong footed the keeper. Fotruna's 3rd goal was a great finish from their inform forward Emils, hitting a a cross 1st time into the top corner. The 4th same from a harsh free kick given in 2 yards outside the box, again the free kick took a wicked deflection off the wall to end up in the net...
Former RU Player Alex Z made it 5 with 10mins left, the ball falling to him 8 yards out and he finished it well.
All in all a good performance with a patched up team with the score line flattering the hosts.
